Chat Function
To Open/ Close Chat Window: Select the button shown in the bar, and then drag the mouse to adjust the window size.
Select the desired Chat Mode: Select the arrow shown in the display to choose a frequency.
There are 6 different frequency types.
• Party Chat: Precede message with [#]
• Private Message Chat: Precede message with [@]
• Guild Chat: Precede message with [%]
• Shout Chat: Precede message with [$]
Select the frequency that you want to use :
If you want to use a single channel frequency, select any one from the frequency option, if you want to use the frequencies channel as shown in Figure 2, just click on the button displayed and tick the desire frequency.

Friends Management
Adding Friends to your List :
Input the game ID of a friend that you want to add in the gray bar below the window, and then click the "Add“ button. Your friend will receive a prompt to accept your friend request, and it is up to him to approve or reject it. Make sure that you enter the exact game ID (case sensitive) of your friends to avoid invalid requests.
Deleting Friends from your List :
Select the name of the friend you want to delete from your list, and then press the "Delete" button at the bottom Right to remove a friend from your list.
You can teleport to the location of a friend by selecting your friend's ID from your list, and then clicking the "Move" button at the bottom. Your character must have the "Friends Teleport Card" or "Friends Regular Connect Card" in order to use this feature.

| Party Rules
Game Menu Shortcut: Use the Shift key and left mouse button to click on another character, and then select any icon shown in Figure 1 to set up the party’s profile as shown in Figure 2.
Allocation Setting
1. Contributor’s Priority: The main attacker gets to pick the spoils of hunting first.
2. FREE : Anyone can pick up items and game coins.
3. Leader Priority : Party Leader gets to pick.
4. By Sequence : Allocation is based on the picking authority assigned in the Party.
5. Even Share: All gold collected by the team will be distributed equally.

| Trading
Trading Items between Players
• Use the Game Menu Shortcut by holding the Shift key and left-clicking the character with whom you want to trade.
• Players can use that trade window to trade with other players.
• The Trade Window will appear to each trader so that each player can also see the information of items in the trade.
Both parties must agree to accept the trade by clicking the "Confirm" button in order to proceed. The trade is completed once it is confirmed by both players. Players can input all the consumable items they wish to sell during trades. If a trade involves the use of gold coins to make the purchase, a window will appear for a player to enter the amount of gold coins.
A player can also decline a trade by selecting the "Decline" option to end the trade.All fraudulent transactions that result in item losses will not be assisted by the Game Masters except in special cases. Be absolutely sure before you confirm a trade, and players are advised to evaluate trade information in the Trading Window before accepting.
Store Trading
• You can use the Store window to perform trades with some NPCs.
• You both buy items from NPCs, and also sell them your own items.
• Players can enter the quantity of an item to sell or buy, allowing them to trade in bulk with NPCs.
• Items are generally sold to NPCs for only 50% of the NPC purchase price.

| Duel System
• The duel system in Ran On-line is called the PK System (Player Kill System).
• Use the Shift key and left mouse button to select the other character with whom you want to duel..
• Players can use their own characters to challenge other characters to a duel. The character or player being challenged can decide whether to "Accept" or "Decline" the challenge.
• When the challenge is accepted, the name above the head of the other character will display in a red colored bar, just like a monster or enemy character.
• The winner in the duel will earn experience points, similarly to killing monsters, based on the level difference between the characters involved in the duel.
• There is no limit to the number of times a players can challenge other players to duels.
• Duel session proposals and challenges cannot be performed in the College's Hall.
